The few times I've been night skiing I froze my ass off and I had a hard time seeing: shadows everywhere from lights coming in all different directions. Still, I wish Killington would spin Ramshead for an hour or so at full moon. Nice bene for the passholders.

actually night skiing at ramshead wouldn't be a bad idea. run it like sr's doing on friday & saturday nites during prime season. offer some nice dining, some entertainment, maybe sled rides ...

once they rebuild/refurbish the summit lodge, another idea would be to offer evening dining at the summit. many western mega-resorts offer it. i remember doing it couple times when they offered it at k many years ago.

i think it would be a cool idea. get a few beers come back take a few runs. the beers would be important tho as it ramshead can be a freezing lift when the light is out.

I believe, that it'll be the "chondola" running, which will make it much nicer. Heated or not, gondi cars are a lot warmer than a chair.

I've thought it would be cool if they would shorten/replace the snowdon triple, making it to the top of Conclusion. Then you could have night skiing on the trails that services, right in front of KBL. Night racing on highline, etc, bumps on conclusion, etc.

Or maybe superstar....

I think Ram's Head would be the best choice for night skiing actually... even though the terrain isn't great.

the only problem with ramshead is there is no bar there, even if they just brought a beer cart that could solve it. would be nice with the timberline park and a few trails.....think they could light up squeeze play?

I agree rams head would likely be the most convenient and logical place for night skiing. However, just like SR, there is not much in the form of terrain. SR is offering nothing above an intermediate level. I suppose this would be fine for visiting/lodging families and kids, but not enough to draw die hard skiers. I think if Kton offered some good terrain - say skye peak area with snowshed- and opened it up on some weekdays, they could probably encourage a lot of high schoolers and locals. Would probably create a positive vibe for the mountain in the locals eyes and then add a few school ski clubs in and it'd end up paying for itself in a few years. Also - 100% agree that a bar better be available close to slopes. Although i dont ski and drink - it would sure be nice warm up the blood when i'm done.

Good point. Superstar chair + Snowshed might make a good combo.
