Never been to the Loaf... I drive from NW Jersey to K on a regular basis... and
will drive to Jay because it's Jay.... What is the drive time to Sugarloaf and
is it worth the drive? Those "Snowfields" - look good - comments?

I love it there, it's the mountain I went to as a kid and never had a bad time, the snow is usually great despite the cold weather, and the staff are very friendly. It's an hour and a half driving rather quickly from where I grew up in mid coast area Maine, probably 6 from Killy, not sure from NJ.. never been. As for the snowfields, after a storm, is as good as the picture says it is. They've got everything as far as terrain goes, technical glades, they're getting better as far as terrain parks go, steeps including often groomed top to bottom white nitro, and long cruisers from the summit. (I remember once counting 360-something carved turns from the top of tote road down to the bottom of the superquad.) Anyway, good times.

Aaaaand they don't monitor who's drinking what at reggae fest as much as K does at the mogul challenge now
