The Poma . . .

. . is going to suck until a new terrain park opens... Between the gate crashers and the jibbers, the line is ridiculous.... Almost not worth the trouble..

Dr.No said the same thing about the line and it causing problems once the racing season starts if the terrain park is still placed there.

what problems could it cause? if thats the designated racing trail, the racers will have to wait...

park folks dont really care...

Ive only seen a 2 minute wait at the Poma this season... Compared to the amount of people at Killington this year, its a lot, but its not a big deal from what ive seen.... With the line setup differently it also feels busier than it really is......

Are you f*** kidding me folks?

we've had some of the best early season snow I can remember, we've got TONS of terrain open, there are way fewer crowds then in past years and we're BITCHING ABOUT THE LINE AT THE POMA!!!!!!

UNFREAKENBELIVABLE

I swear some of you folks complain just to hear yourself whine
Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.

if one considers laps on the poma to be shredding gnar, then that is sad. i understand the park and the racing, but anyone who is out skiing making laps on the poma, should venture out and try and ride top to bottom. its a glorified bunny hill, hence the name...

+1.
filth factor way low off the poma mid-season. Early season it's fun, because it's skiing/riding.
I like it mid season to link up runs off low rider, patsys, vagabond and northstar from K peak rather than going down to the base to catch a Snowdon chair.
for "cycling" a lift nothing beats superstai or needles chair. skye peak chair should be in the mix now too

I waited at least 5 a few times this weekend. You must not get out much.

Plus, the freakin thing keeps breaking down/stopping.

On Sunday it kept stopping because people were staying on the poma past the loading area and setting off the thing that stops the lift....

I'm +1 with the new-improved laseranimal. There ain't nuthin' in particular to complain about with the November Killington just had. I commented that I was a little disappointed that they'd blown base snow instead of chalky talcum powder and that spun off into a rant-fest. That made things like East Fall and Highline a little ugly from time to time but that snow pack ain't goin' nowhere until May.
