Come down to the clubs in AC on the weekend. It's like Staten Island was outsourced to AC, haha.thorski wrote:That picture is what i thought you were talking about. I have bad news for us all. I am in ct. and i have noticed that this year just about every tool out there is wearing a skin tight scribble shirt.icedtea wrote:http://www.bennygohome.com/gallery.htmlthorski wrote:So what does a typical beenie look like?

haha....maybe the r*in will keep them away tonight..
I'd rather the small town on the beach with no tourism. Couple little mom and pop places is all it would need. Make the 20 min drive to the nearest commerce center. Less commerce doesn't necessarily mean worse off, unless you're into the hustle and bustle..KMartman wrote:Dude you're lack of logic on this amazes me....icedtea wrote:BoOgIe Down wrote:ew stop posting that pic,I have to see those crack heads every weekend

listen I understand you live there...I think community support is a GOOD thing, but be realistic.
A town of 6310 without tourism would be 1-2 stoplights, a grocery store, a gas station, and a bar or 2....instead BECAUSE of the "bennies" you have an entire economy. All those places that you hang out in during the winter are there BECAUSE of summer tourism, they can make enough during summer to support themselves and provide services for locals during the off season. You have a ton of goods and services you'd otherwise NOT have if not for the "bennies"...its a simple FACT!!! No denying it. Go look up some other towns in the USA that have roughly the same total population, maybe in say rural NH or Maine, see what they have without tourism. PODUNK!!!!
You dont have to like them, but truth is...youd have very little in a town that small without tourism. Plain and simple.

Not saying anything other than a lot of the services that the year rounders enjoy wouldnt be there if not for tourism, apparently its hard to get that through to IcedTea....Stormchaser wrote:I'd rather the small town on the beach with no tourism.
