I feel sorry for the victims of this situation. First and foremost for the motorcycle riders. Whether they were tailgating or not, they suffered physical injuries that I would not wish upon anyone. I also feel sorry for Mrs. Neisner and their kids. They do not deserve the resulting impact that this situation will bring to the Neisner family.
MB is a good man. He represented me on three real-estate transactions and is the legal counsel for Mountain Green Condos, so I have had the pleasure to know him over the past few years. He has served our community and generally is mindful of the citizens of Killington.
I do not know the facts. It sounds like MB did a real stupid thing. It also sounds like possibly some other people did stupid things. Maybe tailgating, maybe trying to take the blame for her husband to save her family…I do not know. But, I do know, I have done stupid things in my life that I later wish I could undo. And, I am willing to bet, every one reading this has too. I am not willing to cast stones. I am just saddened that this mistake is hurting so many people.
Maybe those of us that do dumb things all the time get some sort of perverted joy at seeing a good man do a dumb thing. But, MB is just that a good man who did a dumb thing. I wish him and his family the best of luck. I hope he learned a lesson and I hope only he has to pay the consequences of his mistake.
And, most of all I hope the motorcycle riders heal quickly and have no lasting physical or emotional effects of this situation.
For the rest of us, I hope we can learn from the mistakes of others and use the lesson to help guide us to be better people.

Having had to endure several 2 faced persons for much of my life, and one paticularly heinous one, this can go two ways.
2 faced guy finally gets his due, or
Decent guy makes stupid mistake.
I will point out that driving while drinking, purposefully driving in a risky and endangering manner, leaving the scene of the accident, having someone else take the blame, and making a false statement are a lot of mistakes for a 'good guy' to make in one day.

just wondering if he has been sentenced yet...anyone know?

in the last few months some people suggested him as a justice of the peace for my wedding.
figured it would be smart to know if he would be avaliable...

The guy is actually appealing his 39 day sentence. Fukking Lawyers...
