Who is the BEST Snow Plow Guy / Company in Killington?

Post by TheAbominableSnowman »

Who is the Best Snow Plow company / guy in Killington? I currently have a snow plow guy that just isn’t cutting it. I have had the same guy for the last few years, but last year he started to not show up that much and I had to call him and reminded him to come and plow. He said it would never happen again but it has started again. Lucky I have been holding back full payment for the season and have only paid him half so if I need to find another guy I would not have to go chase after my money. so it looks like I need to get a new snow plower.

So who is the best and most reliable snow plow company /guy in Killington?

Setab Property Services are pretty good, we've got a difficult driveway and they do a first rate job.

Unfortunately my guy is local to Clarendon, but he is inexpensive and hits me by the job. He only plows if over 6" and he will clear the end of the driveway as he goes by when under that amount. Been 3 seasons so far and really like him. He is also a top notch mechanic and is diesel qualified. HA, I spelled diesel right 1st time!

Seatab must of cleaned up his act then. I had him for two yrs when we lived in robinwood. Guy was completely useless. I would call him and he still wouldn't come till like 10+ hrs later

Setab got a new owner a couple years ago so I think they are better than the previous owner. A friend has a big lot and uses them and is happy with them.

Plowing? Depends on how big or difficult of a driveway you have. If big or difficult Mosher is always there and you never have to worry since he has plenty of equipment..

We were renting at the time and what I ended up doing was getting Ron the snowplow guy to do my driveway and I would deduct his cost off the rent. Of course my landlord would call bitching as he wasn't getting his full months rent. Guy still wouldn't come. It was my landlords fault for paying him off in full before the season started. Seatabs excuse was that I was his only client in robinwood and most of his work was on the killington side. He had a few weekend only places on Brad mead dr and alpine dr. Our place was full time and when he did come he was all shitty about it.
We had him for garbage removal as well. Guy sucked.
For lawn care he was alright though for some reason

We have been with Setab for five years.
Setab does have new owners. I too had trouble - I believe it was three years ago. That was the last year that the previous owners ran Setab. The new owners are terrific and I think for a decent price they have done a top rate job.
I would check with your neighbors. It is a good idea to use a company that has several driveways in the same location.

^^ That's good to hear that the company is reputable now. I used him from 2002-2004

I agree the new owners have been doing a great job much better than the previous folks.
