MAYBE it's saying unlimited skiing to May 2, then K will be open weekends only through the end of the season (pass valid but not "unlimited skiing"). . . . . We'll have to see.

from facebook 27 minutes ago: "We're planning to stay open to May 2."
looks like they have pretty much ruled out staying open any later. sucks.

I was told by someone VERY high up that May 2nd is the closing date unless conditions and intrest are there to warrant closing later....

If they close after all other mountains then they will see more people show up. In the old days, a bunch of Hunter people use to rent a house for a month or so after their mountain closed and ski Killington. I am sure that there were others from other mountains that did the same.BoozeTan wrote:I was told by someone VERY high up that May 2nd is the closing date unless conditions and intrest are there to warrant closing later....

Trust me if the spring fling pass takes off May 2 isn't going to be the closing date. My take is by offering the spring pass they are making a statement, the BEAST is back. They have the stage,........ now it's put up or shut up, I think they may have figured it out,............ run the lifts and they will come.
Cogito, ergo sum
Sometimes it is that simple.

I heard a certain local purchased next years season pass which allows him to ski the remainder of THIS YEAR. Hmm, have things been mended? He expects to have late season skiing and early next year, with reservations.
