 We had our last day yesterday. While I am sad the conditions won't let us go a bit longer, we ended on a high. Two great finals days of skiing and riding. Many new faces yesterday for our free day. Thanks to all who came out, did some runs, ate some burgers and downed a few.

thanks for the update Win. I'm sure you have better things to do than update a killington message board, but you took the time to do it anyways. that's cool.

As opposed to Killington, which is in a "no Win position".

OK don't get me wrong, but I'm just trying to get some perspective here. I am no fan of Powdr and no hater of Win. But, Powdr announces they will close Killington on May 1st, Win announces that he will attempt to keep Sugarbush open until May 16th. They both close May 1st, they both close with some great conditions, yet one is a villain the other a hero. How's that work? Powdr, listen closely now, you may learn something....

Win said he would stay open as long as he could, and he was there skiing with his customers. POWDR said "May 1st, conditions permitting" and end of story. Super Star was good for another week. The Canyon could have stayed on line for at least another week. Cascade and Downdraft along with East Fall would have been GREAT last weekend. Bear Mountain would have been party central for all of April had they made the effort. One is a spoiled South American Skier while many are spoiled Killington Spring Skiers.

Win, sorry to hear that Mother Nature prevented you from extending the season. Glad to hear that many people came to your mountain for it's last day. Rest assured that had you been open next week, many K regulars would have been there to enjoy it. We appreciate your enthusiasm for the sport.
