Years ago there was a guy up at Sugarloaf who skied every day for years. It was referred to Schipper's Streak. He owned a local motel and even attended a weding on Long Island without skipping a day.

In January of 2005, longtime Sugarloaf skier Paul Schipper's streak of skiing on every day of operations ended at 3,903. Schipper's streak spanned a quarter of a century. Schipper passed away in 2009, just short of his 86th birthday.
