They have a Lower rear height to comfortably fit a shorter/ wider leg!
Thanks again Atomic. I'm going to finish looking after I eat dinner.
Hope they'll match my new ski outfit and hope they don't clash with the color of my skis -- that's the most important thing, right?

Thats why I stick to black! It also is a great CONTRASTING color in the snow/fog /snowguns...etc...
What color did you choose?
I noticed in SnowSprites pics. that she had on what the camera showed as a 'off white' jacket. It looked really nice and fit well also ,BUT I WORRY about that color blending in with the snow ! Do colorblind people or people who ski without there glasses see you? But hey, thats the VIRGO in me!

I have what I guess you can call a longated calf muscles (if there is such a thing), which makes the lower part of my leg (above the ankle, below the actual calf) very heavy. I even have problems finding regular boots that fit -- they need to have a stretch, otherwise can't fit into them.
When I was looking to buy ski boots I had trouble finding a pair that didn't bite into my leg or that didn't stop my blood circulation. In 1995 I finally found a pair Technicas where the clamp (clasp) was extendable. They've been fine up until this year (I have them extended as far as they can go). This weekend the side of the tounge of the right boot was biting into my leg (have a pretty purple bruise to show for it). At one point I moved the actual tounge all the way to the right to cover the area so it would have cushion. I know I shouldn't have been wearing the boot or even skiing this way but it helped to cushion that area.
By dilema is should I get a new boot and if so, does anyone know of a particular brand that makes boots for wider calves or is there something I can get for the boots I have to help cushion the pressure points. Would footbeds help this problem?
You may want to consider foam liners. They can fit these into your existing boot if it is in good condition. Surefit (or is it surefoot?) on the access road hooked me up last year and they are great....

Love their stuff. Right now I'm looking at the Comet Jacket (sky blue) with charcol/cement accents and the Lynx Pant in charcol with cement accents. Of course my mind can change by tomorrow.
I have last years mogul series pant w/cargo pockets in black with grey piping and I love them. Want to try to get another cargo pant but really like the Comet jacket in sky blue and can't find a cargo pant that matches. Do you approve?

Yes, this is another option I've been thinking about that I may have to try.

Actually that looks quite similar to what Sprite was wearing in the pic. I saw.The biege and green I think.
Yea the Blue is nice BUT does it match your eyes?
SERIOUSLY> Those pants are TOO LIGHT in color ! Safety wise on a day of Fog/snow/snowguns or a bluebird sky day with alot of sunglare you would get lost in the Sun/snow!

The jacket is solid blue with accents and the pants are the dark gray w/cement accents (not cement w/gray accents). Sprite's jacket is sage green with beige on the side -- I think.... Geesh, I skied with Spirte lots last year and just saw her on Saturday.... Sprite, what colors are in your jacket?

SJR,alias bling-bling WILL PROB. AGREE THAT certain Dalbellos are know as a COMFORT boot. I noticed another poster agreed with my choice.
And the price is just right. Did a search at various on-line shops. Thought I would have to pay an arm and a leg for the heavy calf syndrom I have thanks to the Czech/Slovak background I was born into.
