Comcast problem

Post by SkiDork »

I opened a case with Comcast. It looks like they are blocking the site. Will update this post when I hear something.

I gather that since we are on a shared hosting provider that there is another domain that is deemed inappropriate/malicious on the same host.
Never argue with idiots. They will bring you down to their level, then overwhelm you with their experience.

I did online chat with Deepak and tried connecting but was unable to.

He said they had no problem connecting where he was and gave me this link: index.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Now I can connect. But no clue as to how that is different from what I had.

They claim there was NEVER an issue and that it was whatever we were using.

But they also mentioned some type of phishing scam.

Part of the problem is that phpBB is full of security holes and is easy to exploit.

Of course they did, that's the job of level 1 support - deflect. The guy I spoke to at level 2 admitted it looked like they were doing something to block it. Glad it got resolved.

This sounds EXACTLY like your anti-Humpty defense on KZone.
