Decided to ski K instead of Pico. Skied most of the day by myself. Started by skiing Jug to Breakway which had some icy moguls to deal with but otherwise nice. Skied the trees off the runoff to Bear. At Bear only skied the Fiddle which the new snow helped soften things up.

Met up with GIS and crew and they wanted to leave Bear so I went with them to Old Needles to Cruise Control. We could not ski Needles as there was race training going on. I also enjoyed Thimble to some trees in the area (one of Rusty's favorites). Next up was Vertigo from the top because you could not access it from Panic Button due to the race training. The new snow covered the rocks but I skied on the edge to avoid them.

Bittersweet to Old Bittersweet headwall to Low Road was another favorite. Somewhere/Nowhere and Skybits also good. Skyhawk had nice soft snow on the weeds side but the top had some blown over snow which was a bit thick. Skylark was pretty much skied off when I akied it. The Old Bittersweet headwall had nice soft snow on the right side. Superstar skied well under the guns but if you wandered off you ended up on chunky snow which was not fun. I bailed from Preston's Pitch by skiing skier's left where the snow was natural. The Ovation headwall had guns on it and it was definitely skiable. Old Superstar had nice soft snow on it. The snow being blown on the upper part of the headwall is quite high.

Julio, Anarchy and Juanita had some stuff on the ground from the trees but otherwise all skied well and the exists were more skiable than usual. Did another run in the area which had great snow but the ride down Cascade was an adventure in finding snow to turn on. Skied other unnamed tree runs which had good snow.

Went over to Snowdon and really enjoyed my runs in Low Rider and Patsys. The top of NorthStar was quite icy so I bailed on doing the rest of it.

Afternoon Report: Low Angle woods were very good. Surprised by amount of glaze I found on some of the other nats including Great Bear, Vagabond, and North Star.

ROTD: Escapade -> Flume. Escapade really good for the most part and same for Flume until the start of the exit.

Not much else to report.
Goes to show, you don't never know
Watch each card you play, and play it slow
Don't you let that deal go down
Don't you let that deal go down

Looks like its going down no matter what I do !!!
