Trail Names

Post by CUontheslopes131 »

Hey Guys,

Just for your info, I've upgraded my old SN from Dave-Tigerskier to CUontheslopes131 - a little Cornell University pun.

That said, what's with all the new trail/lift names this year? Where is Reason and how do they only have Upper East Fall open?

Dave

RPuck you looking into any kind of technology degree? If so consider Wentworth in Boston. Great engineering school contrary to what the MIT folks across the river think. Most employers I've interviewed with have had absolutely excellent things to say about WIT graduates. They're hockey team kicks some D3 butt too. I miss goin to those games. My friends and I once took a day trip from Boston to Hershey Penn for the ECAC finals in which WIT won.

Now they have big empty rectangles where the trail maps used to be.
Perhaps they plan to make trail names a treasure hunt :?
Lots of new trail signs. I was too busy to read them
Of all the things I have lost, I miss my mind the most.

I couldn't find anything appropriate for my alma mater, Dowling College. But we have one heck of a womens field hockey team.

Nothing wrong with that. I like a little cleverness. Chunnel is pretty neat. I miss a lot of the old trail names though. Falls Brook sounds beautiful. Half the trails to, from, or anywhere near Bear being called Bear-something just seems like marketing got a little overzealous. A logging theme is a natural for for New England resorts, but otherwise, maybe not so much obsession with theming.

No name for the older, black path of Bittersweet yet, right? We should come up with one.
