Emergency Operations Update

This morning, we lost power briefly at 11:45am. It was only a few seconds before power came back on and all lifts continued to run for skiing and riding.

Green Mountain Power determined the outage was due to an electrical line failure near Pico Mountain.

Green Mountain Power is running an emergency repair and will be shutting off power for an hour beginning at 2:45 p.m. Pico Mountain will be closing for the hour and we’ll reassess operations when we regain power.

At Killington, we’ll be losing power at Ramshead beginning at 2:45pm. Please avoid the Ramshead Lift and lodge.

Had a pretty full ski day since I was sliding with a 5 year old...last minute day trip, snow was soft and my co-pilot had a great time. 7 hours in the car today round trip and not one complaint!
