Not to be confused with Snu Snu, which is neither the governor of NH nor a RINO.

Out of 329 million Americans only 7 million have tested positive for virus. That is about 2% of the population resulting is 200,000 deaths. Assuming linear results for the remaining 98% of our population the death total would reach 10 million unless some are already immune.

Amazing job as the death toll could have 10 million and we only lost 200,000.

I don't think that math works. At a 0.6% mortality rate you're talking around 2 million deaths if everyone in the U.S. were infected. The 2% figure you're using for infected people is likely low because many people got the disease but were never tested.

Not sure about it being an amazing job, either. Compared to most other developed nations, our death toll per population is higher. This is likely because other developed nations were better able to contain the virus and flatten the curve.

Hmmm. Death by Snu Snu. :)
Never argue with idiots. They will bring you down to their level, then overwhelm you with their experience.

They seem to be touting that Maine outbreak as something to be fearful of but really it just highlights how important it is to keep nursing homes locked down and make solid protocols for the staff to be checked before interacting with patients. 7 of the 8 deaths were nursing home patients. They don't list the 8th death in their reporting but it was an 80yr old from what I could find.

Everything I've read from people with actual medical degrees suggests that we are more likely under-counting than over-counting covid deaths.

Here's a Yale study that came to that conclusion:
https://www.cnbc.com/2020/07/01/officia ... finds.html

Here's a doctor who says the same thing:
https://www.gastongazette.com/lifestyle ... dercounted

Here's a study of excess deaths by the CDC that suggests we are undercounting:
https://www.marketwatch.com/story/the-e ... 2020-08-13

There's a million other credible sources that say similar things. Just google it. I have no idea if China and Russia are under-counting, and neither does anybody else outside those countries. But here, we're not over-counting, we're under-counting.

Right, so you have no idea how we stack up worldwide.
