MRC-5 (Medical Research Council cell strain 5) is a diploid cell culture line composed of fibroblasts, originally developed from the lung tissue of a 14-week-old aborted Caucasian male fetus.[1][2] The cell line was isolated by J.P. Jacobs and colleagues in September 1966 from the seventh population doubling of the original strain, and MRC-5 cells themselves are known to reach senescence in around 45 population doublings.

Got a tip yesterday that there was a standby line for leftover shots at the Meadowlands super center. The line reminded me of the old A lift at Hunter.
We waited for 30 min only to find that there was no standby line. Later I tried websites for Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, and Hackensack. Next time I'll buy a lottery ticket - the chances of winning are better.

Even if you are anti choice the number of lives saved from the vaccine is much greater than the “lives” lost so the end justifies the means. And even if cells were used for research these cells are not “in” the vaccine.

Do the right thing for yourself, your relatives, your close contacts and society. Don’t act like a moron. Get your vaccine as soon as it is available.

Friends call their friends from their condo complex in Myrtle beach.
People from all over- snowbirds with all different licenses from different states...it doesn’t matter.

Dozens of them all drive 25 mins to NC and get the vaccine Without any issues and are back for happy hour..
