thursday 12/2 report
well that was interesting ... combine absolutely beautiful hero snow, maybe a bit sticky in spots with one of the worst visibility days of the season, throw in some on & off mist, like i said it was ... the skiing surface was magnificent. once again greeted with an inch or two of snow which lived on the sides the upper snowdon runs. will give the honors once again to great bear. upper flush & dipper still skiing well. the great northern wrap around opened today. unfortunately there's usually a price to pay for hero snow and i suspect we'll be anteing up tomorrow.
spoiled South American skiin' whore

Re: thursday 12/2 report
Afternoon Report: Hit it pretty good w.r.t. timing I guess. Skied the 12:00 - 2:30 shift with better visibility than SA reported. Note: I did NOT go up top. Dense cloud layer was moving up and down with some fog on the top 10% of Snowdon at times, and just above Snowdon the rest of the time.
Big time temperature inversion as it was 34 degrees in the Rte 100 valley but 41 degrees in the K parking lot.
A bit sticky on the all-nat trails but still good stuff.
ROTD: Moby Dick [aka Great Bear]. When I skied this yesterday, there were some slick spots on the back of the whales but today was all hero snow. Several laps on the Chute - Great Bear combo until the r*in came in [though it wasn't real bad, so stuck it out for a coupla more].
Other Snowdon trails, notably Upper and Middle Bunny skiing very nicely.
We will pay the price tomorrow !

Watch each card you play, and play it slow
Don't you let that deal go down

Looks like its going down no matter what I do !!!
