Re: AOC
I don't care for AOCs virtue signaling, but it had it's intended effect by making everyone talk about AOC.Fancypants wrote: ↑Sep 14th, '21, 20:26Agree, totally classless and will add arrogant. She's just another socialist progressive hiding behind the protective curtain of the tech giants and mainstream media. Show me the last instance when AOC answered a direct question, live on camera and from someone outside of the puffstream media. She's a complete lie and fraud.
As for the "hiding behind the protective curtain of the tech giants", I'm not exactly sure what this means. Can you share some examples?

Well at least we now know what is fueling high crime in NYC. According to AOC it's because the child tax credit has expired and crime is because all the parents out there are stealing to feed their children!

Re: AOC
The House Committee on Ethics is investigating Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), according to a statement the panel issued on Wednesday.
The statement, which did not provide many details about the inquiry, said that the panel will announce its course of action after its organizational meeting in the next Congress, sometime in 2023.

Re: AOC
Light on details, and speculation that it may be the result of a conservative watchdog's complaint that she accepted a free ticket to attend the MET Gala. According to the article, the committee is not going to deal with it until the next session of Congress - bad news for AOC, because the Republicans will be in control and will probably want to make an example of her.

Pretty sure House rules allow members to accept free tickets to charity events and also to borrow art (e.g., dress).daytripper wrote: ↑Dec 8th, '22, 09:56Not when you get your ticket to the gala and dress for free!
You have to admire the irony of the GOP trying to investigate a free party ticket, while pretending an attack by GOP supporters preventing a joint session of Congress from counting the electoral college votes never happened. Even going so far to present the American flag flown over our Capitol on January 6th to an insurrectionist.
