Six Peaks Killington
Sounds like what you have all been waiting for, like 30 years' worth of waiting. The new village may be breaking ground soon.

"At completion, several years in the future, it is expected SIX PEAKS KILLINGTON will host more than 1,500 residences."
"several" - pretty broad definition. 1500 residences will be a cluster f***.

I'm sure this has been discussed over the years, but where does all of the parking that they are blowing out get replaced? While the bottom snowshed lot isn't huge, it still packs in the cars. The Ramshead lot is a pretty large loss in capacity.
Undergrounds $40/day parking?

Re: Six Peaks Killington
It has a link on the Killington website on the same page as the Bear project. This was the first time I have seen it.throbster wrote: ↑Mar 25th, '22, 06:37That web site has been around for years. I heard this project will be starting shortly after the Parker’s Gore expansion and Killington Pico Interconnect are achieved. Wouldn’t expect longer than 6-8 weeks!

Re: Six Peaks Killington
Could they just build the snow bridge, and forget everything else?
It would be extremely nice to be able to go back and forth between Snowshed and RH on skis, without having to go down through the tunnel, and up banks on both sides.

Ski down Idler. When you get to the clinic, ski across the access road and down the stairs. No tunnel required.Southside_Bobby wrote: ↑Mar 25th, '22, 11:35 Could they just build the snow bridge, and forget everything else?

or
Ski down Lower Great Northern. When you get to the Vale lot, ski the snowbank along Vale Road to the access road, ski across the road to the Learn to Ski area. No tunnel required.

Re: Six Peaks Killington
It looks like they started working in the area where the water wells are going for the Village. This is along Rt 4 just behind the Mountain Times office.
Re: Six Peaks Killington
They don’t want any vehicles … because if you have 1,500 condos there, even if it’s just 2 people per dwelling plus the new facility’s at Bear there’s no room or need for the peasants driving cars because you’ll already have at least 3000-4000 maybe 5000 people already there .
