saturday 4/30 report
wow a stunner out there today. sunshine and warmer temps, a bit breezy. they did a wide groom on supe eliminating most of the bumps on the plateau. typical flat & firm at the bell that quickly chunked up. skye lark early was a smooth ride. lower bitter a rough ride. things softened very quickly on snowdon. upper mouse & lower bunny skied well. trap turned into piles on base ice. highline was once again very good. thanks to mtn opps for creating a path at the top. though i didn't ski it, heard they fixed upper bunny. by late morning supe started softening and forming bumps. rotd was mid o which got many laps. soft, smooth creamy turns. definitely worth the walk out. good to see lots of fannies in the seats on this perfect spring day.

Yes, but where were you at Bay 1?

Fake news. Upper Bunny was 18" wide for about 80 feet, and it wasn't a flat 18 inches, you were skiing on the point of a triangle. .
If you look up high you'll see the ribbon.

Bay 1 spread over 6 car lengths, and included cupcakes, cream puffs, champagne and pork products. And beer.
What was the delicious cheese wedge?

Afternoon Report: Wow - Full on spring. 2-5 shift with most amazing power hour. Coupla laps at Supe POD, a few on Snowdon, then last hour and a half back at Supe !
ROTD: Superstar TTB. Middle Ovation option also very good but only did it once as Supe was just so good.
Highline good and nice to see the upper entrance patch job. But still hit some rocks partway down after that. Then, very nice rest of the way down.
Don't believe they did anything to Upper Bunny the night before. They did some patchwork on it the night before. With that said, it was really good again and worth a do-over for me. Just had to get the route down it and know when it was 'single file'. Nice bumps again on the last pitch of it.
Bittersweet / Skyelark also very good in the afternoon. No chunks anywhere.
Then there was the Apres Ski !!

Out around 10:30 with Skiergirl at the bubble.
Over at Rams, terrain park nice, but old men should not try the boxes anymore. Ouch.
Highline laps great with the new snow entrance.
Sup still nice , but flatter in the AM.
Great bay one lunch crowd. Bibba sighting.
Back at Sup for what Skiergirl thought the ROTD was middle O. Despite the walk out.
RUB hbd lots of zoners until 6 ish. 802 thereafter.
Great day.
