have fun at mt wash sunday. hope you post pics from there as well.
Glad to see that my pessimism regarding Sunday and Monday was proved wrong -- the pictures and video look amazing ...
... and now reopening for June!

Once again I'm having trouble posting a picture (that doesn't already have a url), but I do have one of Mt Washington from Sunday posted here:

I'll wave to all of you again from there on Thursday, should be a great day for skiing at either location!
yea, hard to believe how well we got through this weekend.
but current cam pic beg the question: is the snow getting foamy?

i believe it was at MRG about 14 yrs ago, it was so hot out that the snow turned to foam. a real delicacy in the rotten snow universe, i'm sure.

Just want to add that there is enough snow for them to open again. High Road are has tons of snow that could be pushed all the way down to the bottom and all the way up the middle. The top had enough to make a path down the headwall.

FWIW: IMHO, K made the right call to open yesterday [Thursday]. Lost a lot overnight heading into today, then some r*in this evening and Saturday not looking like a bluebird day of any sort.

I'm surprised you all are not complaining about how more snowmaking pipe is need or more compressor on superstar or more snow being made or something. Wow. Maybe if they hire 50 people with 5 gallon bucks to bring snow over we can open next weekend?

Next year June 1st is on Saturday. Think our chances of skiing in June yet again are pretty good.

yup g.i.s. let's do it again! with all the dripping going on here lately, remembering the spectacular run of beautiful days we had on supe in may - believe we were something like 12-2 with so many days absolutely cloudless. actually amazing how long the snow lasted considering. once again kudos to mtn opps for a great job managing the snow.
