Overnight camping
so with the skyeship lot closed for camping due to construction is there any other place to camp overnight? Asking for a friend
Re: Overnight camping
Top of the pass, but Jake brakes on semis are loud.
There's plenty of other low profile places early and late season places too. These work before the snow push piles get too big. Message me if you'd like

Re: Overnight camping
What Skyeship construction? Still working on the Mountain side from the flood but the bridgework is all done.

Re: Overnight camping
Emailed K to hear there is no estimate for it being available. Emailed Mike S about it as this may be the straw that breaks our backs on returning. Have held a pass here 20 of the last 25 years, my wife now having one the last 9. We rely on that parking as we come up with our 2 large dogs in a truck camper. Good luck getting other accommodations in our situation. We spend $$$ at various K establishments and won’t balk at the occasional $16 beer. You’d think for the time being they could throw us a bone and open the side Bear lot, upper snowshed or one of their 4 employee housing lots to the handful of campers that show up every weekend to Skyeship.

Not sure that the occasional 16 beer that you buy will move the needle...Killington_Lover wrote: ↑Dec 6th, '23, 11:55 Emailed K to hear there is no estimate for it being available. With how much I’ve spent here I’ll pass an opinion. Sure it would cost them a ton to give the ok to park at upper snowshed while they “work” on skyeship. Also they opened it for overnight today, so moot point? Either way

Re: Overnight camping
Camping at the Vale lot is closed for the season. Camping is permitted in the Skyeship Base. See car camping & overnight parking guidelines here.
