Killington Sales: Good morning, sir, how may I help you?easyrider16 wrote: ↑Dec 10th, '23, 19:43 New business idea - poaching pass. An add on like the fast pass, only it allows unlimited access to "reserved" trails.
Customer: I’d like to buy a poaching pass.
Killington Sales: Excellent, what level pass would you like?
Customer: What level?
Sales: Well, for easy poaches, such as Upper Royal Flush, and a few low angle glades, we offer the bronze pass. It’s our “starter” poach. If your new to poaching, its an excellent value.
Customer: I was hoping for something a bit more…um, interesting?
Sales: Of course sir! For our more discriminating customers we offer the silver poach. It allows access to Lower Royal Flush and some of the steeper glades, all at a modest price point. I hear the Kzoners love it (wink).
Customer: Sounds very nice, but I actually had my heart set on some black diamond poaches.
Sales: Oh forgive me sir, I should have realized you were a man of exceptional tastes. That would require our gold poaching pass. Some of the best poaches on the mountain and includes full access to South Ridge, which is usually closed, except to the privileged such as yourself.
Customer: Excellent! Does it include (checks notes) the Devil’s Fiddle?
Sales: Oh dear, I’m so sorry, that requires the Platinum Poaching Pass, we don’t usually offer it, but today is your lucky day. We have a very limited number available. Shall I sign you up?
Customer: Of course. I always ski the black circles at my home mountain.
Sales: Wonderful, can I interest you in any of our optional insurance policies? It include a custom padded sled on standby. Most of customers like you find it an excellent value. They say it’s much better than the regular sleds they ride.
