There's quite a gap from the snow to the lift line. You don't quite get off the slope before you hit dirt. They do have a hay bale chopper/blower set up and will likely hay the path to the lift. See Ozzie's post on the Superstar thread for a few more pics.
.
View from the road. It's narrow and the base isn't firm in a bunch of spots. You can see the curb lines pretty well here.

Looking up. If you zoom in you can the extent of the rubble. There was no tillering, just blading. It was soft, but a tracked up boulder strewn jiggety mess to ski. If you didn't stay in the narrow lanes, you had to deal with the curb. Not that fun.
Gotta believe they are going to tiller this in early tomorrow morning,

Looking down.

Since the main slope wasn't much fun, I stuck to the short sun baked bump line.
17 turns.
4.5 minute lift ride.
Got better each lap.
Black flies found me, especially at the top when stopped.
Sorta fun to ski the exact same track, run after run. You don't really get that on a pandemonium Saturday.
I didn't see any other tracks, but 3 people started hiking up Skyelark while I was there with skis on their backs.

Re: Thursday 5/23/24 report
Great report. There is no substitute for first hand, on the ground journalism.
2014 - "A South Ridge trail is Pipe Dream. A South Ridge lift shouldn't be."
2019 - "A South Ridge trail is Pipe Dream. A South Ridge lift (operating midweek) shouldn't be."
2023 - Killington announces that the South Ridge lift will run five days a week.
2024 - Killington lied.

Re: Thursday 5/23/24 report
nice work moose. and thanks (and no thanks;0} for the pics and reportage.
i have to believe the next pass will build upon what was done today
and the surface will always be better after some human groomin', so long as we're not pulling up more debris as the ship steafily melts...
rock skis ready!
