Top failed. Middle roll oven to the bottom next. Should have blown more in the middle to push. So predictable. Next year new SS lift coming in is a May 1 close they say. Maybe late season on a huge blown Canyon and run-out! Shake it up Mike! The fans would go crazy. K legend potential.

Re: Sunday May 26th
another sunstroke day out there. they did another comb over on the headwall and applied the urea. didn't groom full width in some places and left the bumps including the lower left lines. like yesterday at the bell the 1st 3 or 4 turns on the hw were very firm. nice & soft from there on down with bumps quickly forming. unfortunately by early afternoon, the hw turned into rocks and mud w folks walking or side slipping down. some rock sections in the middle as well. overall didn't think the bumps were as good as the previous days. on preston's there was a substantial of WC ice evident.

Out at the bell for 6 runs. Not bad. Headwall ok. No rocks.
U bar by 10. Back out with Liv4ski and Southside for a few more before the kzone bbq near the bus.
Found a downhill bike to complete my trifecta for the weekend.
Met Glenn Plake from the kzone and introduced him to the zoners. Up at the ubar a buy a sighting.
Great vibe there. Not crowded.
More grilling on the road with the usual suspects. Great day!

Re: Sunday May 26th
fun one under the sun!
smallish crowd but good scene.
heard complaints about the HW starting at noon, but it was nothing. a little sidestep on thin cover. or as many did, straight down to the bumps.
props to mountain ops for pulling anothef rabbit out of the hat.
last weds there were predictions for friday, *maybe* saturday.
boo to sweep patrol and their "keep moving" as i snapped a few pics.
keeping hope alive for one more on snow, under the sun!
