This seems like an unnecessary self-own. Why not just pardon the nonviolent ones?

I guess it doesn't really matter. Nobody cared in November so why would they care today?

It’s real. The ~350 individuals that assaulted police that were pardoned and released by Trump is also real. The dude who created the Silk Road to traffic drugs and women was also pardoned from his life sentence and walks free.
