I thought this previously listed Skye Peak Express & Needles Eye Express as well...

Hopefully one more weekend of these... Currently dumping on the entire mountain...
i heard bear quad will reopen this coming weekend. wonder if they added skye and needles to the mix.

It almost looks like they bladed down Dreammaker through the Superpipe for a route down. Lower Burst looks grim.

today all entry points to launchpad were closed w big piles of snow, netting and danger warnings as they were taking down the haul rope. assume at least the bear chair will run this weekend, of course hoping for needles & SPQ as well.

OK - As we hoped / expected, we get Bear AND Needle's Eye for one more long weekend !

Butt, reading the K Operations Update today [Friday], sounds like you have to take the K1 gondi to get back to Bear. Why in the world do they have High Traverse completely blocked off at the bottom of FIS? Thought about this yesterday as I was on my way to Escapade [that has tons of snow on it] from the top of the Canyon chair. OK, so I missed one more run on Escapade as a result, but it's today, and this weekend, that really has me questioning this.

Am I missing something? Are they gonna take down that barrier for the weekend or force you to ride the gondi?

High Traverse is a highly valuable segment right now. I'm not there till Sunday, and will be looking forward to today's and tomorrow's reports here indictating it is open.

high traverse was open (unroped) friday. took it to access escapade. there was/is a pile of snow at the entrance but easily skied around. it had been roped w netting earlier in the week. however before they closed it, there was only ice ribbons on either edge where it comes out into the SR ridge area. expect it to be worse now.

today i took blue heaven which was terrible. mostly base ice w a ribbon on the right edge. much of bear trax heading over to bear was base ice.
