Blackout Days

Sugarbush, Jay Peak, and Okemo (only because friends are there).

I am considering a full week trip with a ski club to Jackson Hole on President's Week. There are only so many beds to fill there, that a holiday week is not the problem you might think like in the East.

Can you give us some more info on this trip to Jackson Hole? Like a link to the ski club's website. I might be interested if it is occuring on President's Week and if it is something more affordable that going on my own.

So what's your deal that you aren't a working stiff? Rich uncle croak? Wife a Wall Street lawyer? Or do ya live in a cardboard box on the side of the BQE

Blackout Days

Post by tirolerpeter »

I don't care about "blackout days" because I don't have to ski on week-ends. I do feel for the rest of you that do. On the other hand I had to endure forty years of standing on lift lines before I could retire. I tend to do stuff on week-ends that "normal" people do. Normal being defined as "non-skiers." Skiers on the other hand make monumental drives in the craziest weather for a few hours of delightful misery! I am SOOOO glad that is in the past.
