Heavenly Reverse Stairway will be the first casualty. Resort will wait for top to bottom before they open as the most likely choice. Nearly zero chance of October turns this season.

Well, I would expect a major de-emphasis on the K-1 gondola. That means opening first on Superstar with the Ubar. Which Actually Makes Sense.

If you blow Skye/Bitter first so Blue Square skiers can ski opening day per usual, that could happen. There's even more room, wider trail than GN, for the WROD. You could also open on Bunny/Chute/lower Chute/Lower Bunny. Better terrain, no U-bar, use lodge and deck.

We've talked about it for years here, it's been done before in the 90's, and they've proven they can do it with the WC.

Sorta like buying a house [Location, location, location].

Think Elevation, elevation, elevation.

North Ridge will open first. Might need to connect Great Northern down to it first to make stairway a one way [uphill] street.

Can you download on the bubble? It’s not much of a walk from the GN wrap-around up Killink. You can certainly put more people safely on the 6-pack with the bubble up than on the K1.

Yep - with reduced capacity on the uphill side. I would expect that not to be a problem after most people are up out of the base area.

If they're looking to de-emphasize the lodge, the bottom terminal location certainly does that by default.

The cripple's location is better, but that lift is not configured for downloading.

Why would they run the K1 at all? They can do it with the bubble and a bit of snow down Killink. Why add the operating cost? It’s not like the Peak Lodge can do a ton of business when it’s limited capacity. They’re going to have to limit the number of people doing laps on Rime.

And who the hell wants to get in a gondola? I always avoid them, but this year they are the plague.

Was the slowdon quad set up for downloading? Evidently the triple is not (assuming Newplaylong is correct)
