So you're into front entry. Good to know.

Yeah, I suppose there's nothing like attending a good stiff Bogner.

This is actually a myth. The fact that many tele skiers look like Jesus is not coincidence. Its part of a conspiracy to support the myth.

Edit: Sorry you got shafted on your poles being stolen.

I've had my poles stolen at Killington Peak while in the bar. They left some really battered cheap aluminum poles in exchange. I can't explain the criteria for selecting poles to steal. In my case, I presume it was because they were very nice graphite poles. I'd guess others grab the first pair that looks like they'll fit.
Yup. I would guess that it's all about fit. So, yeah, if you were in a hurry, who cares if they're crappy? Whoever did it probably had nice ones at home. I was hoping they might put them back at the end of the day. They were POS, but they were my POS.

I'm glad they didn't take Jerry's graphite poles. I never woulda heard the end of that. Maybe now I'll get some of my own.

Poles and rear-entry in the same message, interesting.

WWJD always meant, at least for me, 'What Would Jerry(Garcia) Do'. Once a Head, always a Head. Please no D#CK jokes.

Sorry , Marie. I had mine stolen at Sunapee. One difference. They were Kerma composites , custom cut for me and they cost $135. Ouch.
Sunapee GS said , " nobody steals poles, they just take them by mistake". Yeah , right. I called every week for the remainder of last season and no one corrected their "mistake". But I had them for a couple seasons so they weren't brand new. I was in the lodge less than 5 minutes so my granddaughter could grab another shirt. I even ran towards the back parking lot in hopes of finding the culprit. Lucky for them , I didn't!
But it just gave the day a sour note. Tried to buck up for the kid's sake but I was p'oed. I lock my stuff usually but that's no guarantee. I locked my board at K and found it in the ditch next to the Gondi. Still not sure what happened. Someone broke the lock and the board got away from them or someone hollered , " STOP , THIEF!"
Now , maybe I haven't skied Sugarbush enough to know the character well enough...HS 4/17/2007

Yeah...that's why I'm glad they took mine and not my husband's. He has some kinda cool (expensive) poles and woulda been really p.o.'d.

Me? I just skied without them for the rest of the day. I'm sure I'll find somebody's castoffs at home! : - )

I got extra poles kicking around for you Marie if you need them. Rental shop would have loaned you a pair for the rest of the day...

Jesus was a boarder. Reminds me of this drinking song the Rugby guys used to do at the drink ups. http://www.tcnj.edu/~cook8/Jesus.html

Jesus could never hold onto the poles - they would just slip through the holes in his hand.

People who steal are just scum of the earth. They should be prosecuted to the fullest extent when caught. Frickin bastards...

On behalf of the decorating staff at The Cracker Barrel, Ruby Tuesday's, the 99's, and all the other restaurants where the decor = old junk found around the country, I apologize. I believe you'll find your poles at the new restaurant opening in Hoboken.

My guess would've been that I'd see them in Medford or Somerville, not Hoboken.
