Any top 20 World Cup racer will blow away any other skier on the mountain. Go watch the KMS racers when they're screwing around in the half pipe or doing tricks in the terrain park. Race training gives you the fundamental skills that carry over into any of the free skiing activities. Most of the well-known free skiers are race dropouts who weren't good enough to cut it.
I actually think bumps do the same. Good body position and balance is necessary. I see a lot of those racer kids get into variable terrain and not know what to do with their hands. But then again, two different angles.Geoff wrote:Any top 20 World Cup racer will blow away any other skier on the mountain. Either way, I haven't skied with any of the guys listed above, so I'm voting for Dr. No on a write in ballot.
i think tanner hall one time said that if you put him on a world cup race course he wont be the fastest but he well get down but if you put bode miller in a halfpipe he wont even try.Geoff wrote:Any top 20 World Cup racer will blow away any other skier on the mountain.
