Yamahas..from a department store...$99. inlcuding bindings, if I recall correctly...1970's??
Ended up with used, ancient black frankenstein boots..at least they had clips, not lace ups...due to high instep.
Took a long time to find out I was wearing "bedroom slippers" over the years to ski...only skiied a couple times a year back then..snowplow.
Amazing what a good pair of boots can do...like being able to feel the edge of the ski dig in...

My first pair were K2s sometime in the early 80s. I still have them in the basement at K.

Fisher Silver something, 175 with Solomon 303 bindings you could set up to step in and use your poles to get out. Raichle cheap plastic HARD boots.

If I remember correctly they where a pair of Kneissel (sp?) red stars sometime in the late 70's early 80's.

Unknown brand, 1965. Cable strap bindings.
Safety straps, and leather lace boots!

K2 somethings back in the '70's. I can't remember the model 'cause I was only 10 years old.
