I can't believe how incredibly lame that is of Nyberg.

I guess he can't handle a legit complaint. And my next question is if any ever actually responded to the email that was origially sent?

Someone SHOULD forward this to his bosses at POWDR, and someone should also forward pics of this years BMMC to whoever handles Budweiser marketing for Vermont.

He comes off as a typical entitled, elitist prick with no respect for anything but his bank account. Closing on Saturday to avoid a new pay period is so ridiculous I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

I am a little shocked that Mr Nyberg would take this path in dealing with what was a legitimate customer complaint/concern, I don't understand what he hoped to accomplish by contacting the person's employer, I'm completely baffled.
I'm awed by the total arrogance of the action. This one really needs to make the press since it's so loathsome.

This action will rank up there with the birds picking bugs off the elephant's back comment.

This one is worse. In this one Nyberg tries to hurt a customer.

I really don't mind "eat what you kill" type comments. Those things are what management says to each other. Working within a budget, trying to implement a strategy (whatever WE think of it), its all part of their job.

This is incredible. Absolutely incredible.

Trying to hurt a customer? WHAT WAS HE THINKING??? Is he SERIOUS?? Did he not think this might get out?

This comment makes me think less of KILLINGTON. Not Powder, not SP Land. KILLINGTON. Someone high up needs to pay attention to whats going on here.

And yes, Chris. I am writing this from my work computer. Come and get me.

I still say there's more to this than just a simple complaint email sent to Nyberg. He must receive 100's of complaint emails including some really nasty ones. Why would he single out this 1 email? Something's fishy about this whole story... :? I still call :bull on this...

I'm skeptical as well.

He probably hoped BM would get punished in some way ... still pretty pathetic. Surprised me that a man of this level would do this via e-mail or even has the time to follow-up on things like this. He must be pretty pissed!
This should come as no surprise to any killington regular. He is the asshole that had the time to personally pull passes. And of course he wasn't too busy to have a little lecture with the offenders prior to pass "reinstatement".

This guy is on an ego trip. What other "President and General Manager" of a large company would behave like this? And how did he find the name of the supervisor? Business can't be good for him. Eyes must be on him. Desperate people do desperate things. WTF is wrong with this picture?

When he got hired and we first found out his background, I remember posting my reaction was that he was just a glorified sales rep. His previous job was, like, VP of sales for a non-elite ski area. Good job, Powdr.

Along with the ownership change, industry veteran Chris Nyberg becomes president of Killington Resort and Pico Mountain.Nyberg has 30 years of ski industry experience: he spent a decade at Mt. Bachelor in Oregon in a variety of capacities, several years running Willamette Pass Ski Area in Oregon, and two years as the head of The Summit at Snoqualmie, Wash. Since 2001, Nyberg has been vice president of North American and International operations for Bombardier; when Bombardier was acquired by Prinoth, Nyberg became vice president for Prinoth and was named to its board of directors.
On paper, his qualifications look great.

I think this action ranks up there with that of BANNED on the Sugarloaf thread. Where are the Maggots when you need them? Unleash the powers of the internet on the man with the fast hands and e-mail, C. Nyberg.
