As to the military end... thank you for your service. It certainly sounds as if your time in the service was considerably more dangerous and “badass” (not sure if that is the best word) than hers. Should that though, disqualify her from talking about her time in the Marines? After all she did serve and that should be commended....

No need to thank me, it was a pleasure and a privilege to serve.
I have no problem with her making mention that she is a veteran who served in Iraq.
And in light of the date yesterday, 9/11, There were lots of futures traders at Cantor Fitzgerald who were Combat Victims even though we all might have considered One Word Trade as very out of the combat zone on 9/10.
But to stand there with a NON-military weapon, holding it improperly, with the safety OFF, and claim it is just like the ones she used when she was fighting in Fallujah..... FAKE, Phony, FRAUD.

I'm just glad she lost to a local and is hopefully not going to be on the TV anymore. Not as glad as my cardiologist, but I can still get my blood pressure up over other things.

There was not that much interest for Rs to turn out for. As a general rule any R is better than any D.

Also there may have been many "closet Rs" who fly all year as undeclared and may vote in the Dem primary to select a weaker candidate who would be easier to beat in November.

Trump will only help turn out the extremists on both sides.

I can only hope that the moderates and independents see that Molly's follies are unaffordable without making NH MA north along with all the taxes and waste and corruption of a big government nanny state.
Hard to tell? The media tell us that Dems are more motivated and their biased polling shows it; but I don't trust the media and don't believe their polls. Yes, it will come down to moderate Republican support and which way independents go. The race pits a gay white man against a conservative black man-unknow how that plays out?

Finally, Pappas' family owns the Puritan Restaurant in Manchester. I've been their twice-it was horrible both times and I will never go back. They are supposed to have the best chicken tenders in the state-they were about the worst I ever had-hard and dry.

So she lost .. move on to some other issue that will truly significantly impact the Granite State. It won't be the quality of chicken tenders at a Manchester slop house.

As long as Commonweathers continue to pay their Hookset tolls, buy their Hookset booze, fill their boat gas tanks at Alton and visit Hampton, NH will do just fine :like

They will however, rue the day they dropped the ball on licensing a casino in Weirs beach.
Swing and a miss

New Hampshire doesn't need people from Mass crowding our highways, mountains, lakes and ocean and worst of all voting in our elections. We would do just fine without them.

Seriously? Let's start here: "In 2010, Sununu led a group of investors in the buyout of Waterville Valley Resort where he works as Chief Executive Officer. Waterville Valley employs over 700 people in the North Country." What happens to those jobs when NH says "we don't need no stinkin' Massholes?" And the restaurant jobs in Center Harbor that helped put my kids through college? OMG. The list goes on...are you serious?

LOL...I do hear ya about elections though...because there were lots of school buses full of illegal MA voters outside where I cast my vote in one of the border towns. SMH.

Just getting them roused up. One mistake NH did make is our lakes. Many of them surrounded by million dollar (or more) homes, many of them second homes for millionaires from Mass. Other lakes have way too many homes and cottages right on top of each other. A lake home or cottage is out of reach for almost every one in NH. Would have preferred more conservation and public access to our lakes. The lakes are going to end up being polluted from lawn fertilizer and septic run off from too much development.

Let's keep piling on...

NH couldn't even preserve its iconic Old Man. The government outsourced it to some local guy as I recall rather than spending the money to have it properly maintained.

How should it have been properly maintained, the State was involved? I would think the state pouring fast drying concrete into cracks may have the wrong thing to do. That's not going to stop water penetration or the freeze and thaw cycle?

From Wikipedia:

Freezing and thawing opened fissures in the Old Man's "forehead". By the 1920s, the crack was wide enough to be mended with chains, and in 1957 the state legislature passed a $25,000 appropriation for a more elaborate weatherproofing, using 20 tons of fast-drying cement, plastic covering, and steel rods and turnbuckles, plus a concrete gutter to divert runoff from above. A team from the state highway and park divisions maintained the patchwork each summer.[5]

Nevertheless, the formation collapsed to the ground between midnight and 2 a.m., May 3, 2003.[2] Dismay over the collapse was so great that people left flowers at the base of the cliffs in tribute.
