I remember one day last winter it was snowing like a blizzard from KBL on up to the peak. This was in the afternoon and I really didn't want to leave, but I had to. But by the time I got down to the Wobbly it was just a mixture and it was a heavy NCP event down in Rutland!Stormin_Aussie wrote:
Since moving to VT I have never watched the weather channel because the weather here on the hill can be very different from only 12 miles away in Rutland...
Thanksgiving shaping up to be a bust at K

I left K this morning at 7:45 AM ( Saturday) for a meeting in CT then home to NJ. temp at house in K was low 20's.. They were blowing the bottom of Chute to Snowden Quad..then all of Lower Bitter /upper Skyle lark.
I am sure they groomed. everything else flat.. It had only softened up around noon yesterday.. and had actually hardened up somewhat when I quit at 3PM. Plenty of snow.. even with the r*in coming.. here and there.
If the second r*in event turns to be Heavy NCP (r*in) then we will be f'd on tgivng until the cold blast comes in.. but hey them the breaks..
meanwhile long range looks good..
