Bubba,

Nickelback?!?! C'mon man that's pretty damn gay.

My own set list from my last trip home -

God Forbid - Gone Forever (loud annoying metal. Good stuff!)
Nightwish - Once (Finnish Operatic Rock - sung by a for real opera singer)
Erin Hill - Frost As Desired (she plays harp AND sings like an angel)
Heart - The Road Home (gorgeous accoustic live set of some Heart classics)
Stanley Clark - School Days (The man is a god of the bass guitar)
John Coltrane - Famous Jazz Collection (a Coltrane anthology)
What is not possible is not to choose. ~Jean-Paul Sartre

Actually, the Stevie Wonder CD was gay. Not sure why you'd consider Nickelback in that "genre".

I'm here with a serious problem.
I need you to talk me out of switching to XM.

First of all, the only thing that has kept me on Sirius has been Breuer. The problem is that I cannot listen to Breuer anymore, because I'm either at work or on the train when he's on, and they don't stream his station. That's not Breuer's fault, it's Sirius' fault.

Honestly, I could give two shits about Stern.
I originally joined Sirius for the radio chick, but her show has started to suck too.
But Breuer.. man.. I had the rare opportunity to listen to him for about 10 minutes the other day (I was in my car while a replay was on the weekend) and his show was as good as ever.

XM streams their comedy over the internet - so at least I'll have that while I'm working. No Breuer, but about everthing else I like about Sirius is on XM..

So yeah. Talk me out of it.

Hmmm... didn't see any BTBAM in there, what's up with that!

I'm all over the place with music, but lately it's been:

gospel- The Moon is a Dead World (prog rock meets metalcore)
Gang of Four- Return the Gift (legendary post punk)
The cure- Disintegration (I don't think i need to say more about this album)
Weezer's Blue Album
Cave In- Jupiter (space rock type stuff, lots of metal influence)
Vornagar- The Bleeding Holocaust (melodic death metal, tight unit)
Sufjan Stevens- Iliinoise (amazing folk artist)
Candlemass- s/t (one of the best doom metal bands around today)
Miles Davis' best of
and anything by Sigur Ros, especially ( )
live to ski, ski to live.

There are few bands I dislike more than Phish and Moe

and KBL Ed, if by gay, you mean ridiculously complex and filled with mind blowing musicianship, you are absolutely correct!

This is how I rock the slopes....
Artist: Disturbed
Song: Down With The Sickness

(Can you feel that?)
(Oh sh*t)
Ooh ah ah ah ah!
Ooh ah ah ah ah!
Drowning deep in my sea of loathing
Broken your servant I kneel
(Will you give in to me?)
It seems what's left of my human side
Is slowly changing ... in me
(Will you give in to me?)

Looking at my own reflection
When suddenly it changes
Violently it changes
Oh no, There is no turning back now
You've woken up the demon ... in me

Get up, come on get down with the sickness
Get up, come on get down with the sickness
Get up, come on get down with the sickness
Open up your hate, and let it flow into me
Get up, come on get down with the sickness
You mother get up
Come on get down with the sickness
You f*** get up
Come on get down with the sickness
Madness is the gift, that has been given to me

I can see inside you, the sickness is rising
Don't try to deny what you feel
(Will you give in to me?)
It seems that all that was good has died
And is decaying in me
(Will you give in to me?)

It seems you're having some trouble
In dealing with these changes
Living with these changes
Oh no, the world is a scary place
Now that you've woken up the demon ...

And when I dream
And when I dream
And when I dream
And when I dream!!!!
No mommy, don't do it again
Don't do it again
I'll be a good boy
I'll be a good boy, I promise
No mommy don't hit me Oh-oohh
Why did you have to hit me like that mommy?
Don't do it! You're hurting me Oh-oohh!
Why did you have to be such a bitch?
Why don't you,
Why don't you f*** off and die?
Why can't you just f*** off and die?
Why can't you just leave here and die?
Never stick your hand in my face again bitch
f*** YOU!!!
I don't need this sh*t
You stupid sadistic abusive f*** whore
Would you like to see how it feels mommy?
Here it comes, get ready to die!

Ooh ah ah ah ah!
Get up, come on get down with the sickness
Get up, come on get down with the sickness
Get up, come on get down with the sickness
Open up your hate, and let it flow into me
Get up, come on get down with the sickness
You mother get up
Come on get down with the sickness
You f*** get up
Come on get down with the sickness
Mad-ness has now come over me
Geoff the sound a cat make as it coughs up a hairball.
