The website states that guns will be moved up to higher elevations tomorrow, specifically Double Dipper and East Fall.....I wonder if they accidentaly forgot to put the "upper" part or if they're actually trying for the canyon area. With the consistent colder temps next week, it would be great to see them open the canyon quad soon!
With the temps this coming week, I think they could more than double their open terrain by next weekend, and leapfrog anyone else on acreage and mileage. Especially with the Superstar pod also opening to the public. Even this weekend they won't be too shabby on terrain.
They also moved some fan guns a coupla says ago to the Snowshed carpet area !
Goes to show, you don't never know
Watch each card you play, and play it slow
Don't you let that deal go down
Don't you let that deal go down
Looks like its going down no matter what I do !!!
Temps this weekend look pretty awesome for snow making. Killington has a chance to really show off the firepower they are capable of on national TV. Would be great to see them dropping ropes throughout the weekend

and they will. sure we'll see some upper snowdon runs (as opposed to the mighty killink) come on-line, as well as lower chute in addition to UEF & upper dip. the upper downdraft runs would probably be next.
Are they allowed to make snow during the race? I was under the impression that they couldn't. Though maybe if they stay far enough away from Superstar they can.
On K site:
“The Snowdon Six Express joins in on the fun tomorrow for the first time this season, with a 9:00 a.m. opening time. All other scheduled lifts are expected at 8:00 a.m, however stay tuned to the conditions report for updates in case Mother Nature tries to trip us up.”
Ran on Upper East Fall last night supposed to fire back up tomorrow to finish Mouse Run, in addition to starting Upper Chute and MTS. Have not heard anything on Upper Double D or Upper Downdraft but would expect they aren't far off.
If the temps stay good the trails should come quick now.
