I do not understand what that guy is trying to accomplish. Does he think he's helping to have gay people more accepted? I'd guess not too many gays appreciate his antics.

I hate to tell you, but most gay people fly under the radar.

It isn't called "Flyin under the radar."
It's called keeping your own private and personal business, private and personal.

Saying "some gays fly under the radar" suggests that he can pick a good portion of the gay population out of a crowd. I highly doubt that. The vast majority of gays, whether male or female, are not "flaming cross dressers" or equivalent but come across in public just like anyone else. Some even have mustaches.

Style of dress, mannerisms, speech inflection, the company they keep. They may not all be as easy to pick out as Johnny Weir but, if you have a couple of minutes you can pick most out. Of course I am mostly talking about the flamers here not the normal gays.

How did you know that these folks at the rest area were gay?
By their mannerism and how they were talking to each other.

Gaydar is real.ya sure its not just simple observation? the examples below don't show any "supernatural" abilities, simply the ability to observe and apply those observations to past experience/observation...

This was all just a marketing ploy by K.

They could care less if anyone showed up nor could I.

They just wanted to put it out there for the publicity.

Good marketing trick, got them a lot of free press.
