Whoa...this thread has gotten sidetracked. Let's not forget it's about the stinky snobby Fast Tracks program. I was a passenger driving up to go skiing yesterday, got to get an opinion from my friend (who was the one that convinced me to buy a Cannon pass instead of a Sugarbush pass when K got rid of me by not offering the black-out pass anymore) and he wasn't surprised that I haven't given K any money since this lousy idea was implemented. Unfortunately I still will not capitulate and it looks like I won't purchase the Spring Pass before the early deadline. I'll see what happens once Superstar is the last game in town.

You can get an Ikon pass the will give you the blackout days. Easy solution.

Oh, I know there's other solutions, but when K wanted to force me into buying a full pass (now I can ski days I don't want to be there for more money? No thanks) I thought I'd only do a year away as protest and then give in, I underestimated my stubbornness. Cannon will have to do something stupid like Fast Tracks to get me to stop buying their pass now (and as Steff sold me next years pass as I was waiting around for my friend said "that's not going to happen" and I told her they're stuck with me now).

The funny thing GIS is that I asked my friend to try to convince me that I'm only hurting myself...the thing we laughed hardest about was he says "how many of the people who pay extra for line-cutting privilege do more runs than you by the end of a ski day", and neither of us could honestly say there was even one, the answer is most likely zero...so why does it bother me so much...

Ramshead needs a bubble chair because the current chair is very cold on cold days This might give beginners a nicer ride and they might then continue skiing and become the future generation of skiers.
the ramshead chair and the snowdon triple (and previously, the snowdon quad) are arguably the coldest chairs on the mountain because they face the wind.
And I used to walk to school uphill both ways.... The wind doesn't blow from the same direction all the time or does it? Asking for a friend.
For me it's the coldest of the open chairs because the area it goes up is open all the way and wind is usually blowing downhill and towards you riding in the chair. The triple gets colder once it goes above Conclusion. The old quad sometimes was very cold if the wind was blowing down the hill. The old Southridge chair was also very cold once you made the odd turn because that area had no trees to protect you. Now it goes up with trees on both sides providing some protection until the top.

Seemed to be very few people using Fast Tracks today, despite the fact that it was pretty busy.

That was nice that Mike posted on rectifying the escalator issues (not that that would concern me much), now if this lousy Fast Tracks program would be corrected (as in discontinued) I'd be one thankful skier.

You do realize that the fast track program has been a non factor? Its been extremely rare that I have seen it used.

Did anyone notice the race style fence they put up in the K1 queue around the fast pass line? Separating the haves from the have nots.

I think someone ducked the Fast track rope at Needles today and was then arguing with an employee. I thought that was strange, there was barely a line.

Fast Tracks is on its way out. Another year or two and it will be gone. . . Waste of money and time for staff . . Poor ROI . .
