Yes, Robrules does have a great list....... ahhh "Dream On" (great song).

When I need to wake up and I'm driving ALONE up to VT, I crank up Paradise by the Dashboard Light and sing my heart out. I'm sure it's kind of scary.

The music scene changed HUGE while I went to high school.
When I started Chuck Berry was about the best you could do.
Mostly it was the likes of Elvis, Bobby Vinton and Peter, Paul and Mary.
By the time I graduated Motown(mostly), Beatles(sucked), Stones(ok) and Pink Floyd(great) were available.
The first good Stones album Aftermath didn't come out until after I graduated.
The first radio airplay of Floyd made front page in the newspaper a couple years after I graduated HS.

 I got suspended because my hair was too long.
They ignored the fact that it was about the same lenght it was the year before the Beatles hit the scene.

I switch back and forth. Sometimes had my own words via melody to Meatloaf's solos.

Hippies are cool. I'm a little younger than you but I grew up with older cousins who were hippies/flower children. I was a wannabe flower child. Dressed the part in highschool for a bit as did some of my friends. When I was even younger I got all my cousin's hand-me-downs.... I was a little flower child.
Peace man.
Flower Power.

There are many for me, but I have to say it's
"Stairway to Heaven"

followed by
"Roundabout" and
"Freebird"
For you it was so long ago, I'm surprised you remember that far back :P
