Noice!
If I could only ski as bad as HS!
Is bad good or bad? I forgot.

Still curious why you require a mid-fat for your clinic as Bling asked?Highway Star wrote:Note that I have cancelled the clinic - see the first post.
SOORRRRY EVERYONE!!!!!!
I'm not going to put up with anyone stupid enough to show up for this kind of clinic on the wrong kind of gear, and I'm not going to waste my time explaining it to people who don't "get it". Simple.XtremeJibber2001 wrote:Still curious why you require a mid-fat for your clinic as Bling asked?Highway Star wrote:Note that I have cancelled the clinic - see the first post.

I guess "not explaining to people who don't get it" is an example of your teaching style?Highway Star wrote:

"Why you should be freeskiing on a midfat" is beyond the scope of this clinic. If you don't understand that concept, there are other places for you to learn it. I've already spent WAAAAY too much time on this topic over on epicski in the past two years or so.Mister Moose wrote:I guess "not explaining to people who don't get it" is an example of your teaching style?Highway Star wrote:

Can you at least link to a post where you covered why you need a mid-fat then?Highway Star wrote:"Why you should be freeskiing on a midfat" is beyond the scope of this clinic. No. Go search threads I've posted in, in the epicski tech section.XtremeJibber2001 wrote:Can you at least link to a post where you covered why you need a mid-fat then?Highway Star wrote:"Why you should be freeskiing on a midfat" is beyond the scope of this clinic. Are you suggesting that people couldn't/didn't freeski when all we had was straight skis of pretty standard width? Damn, way back in the dark ages...1985...skiing must've been pretty dull.Highway Star wrote:"Why you should be freeskiing on a midfat" is beyond the scope of this clinic. No, I'm saying that showing up on a carving ski do to this type of skiing is a BAD IDEA, and you will have a BAD TIME.Bubba wrote:Are you suggesting that people couldn't/didn't freeski when all we had was straight skis of pretty standard width? Hmmm....I gotta go dig out my Rossi 205 Quantum (I think that was the name) from storage. I have my 195 K2 5500s here - maybe I'll try those instead.Highway Star wrote:No, I'm saying that showing up on a carving ski do to this type of skiing is a BAD IDEA, and you will have a BAD TIME.Bubba wrote:Are you suggesting that people couldn't/didn't freeski when all we had was straight skis of pretty standard width? However, if you want to show up on your 205 GS boards and rock out, I'm all in favor of that.
Just no carving skis. Thanks.
Good luck with that......Bubba wrote:Hmmm....I gotta go dig out my Rossi 205 Quantum (I think that was the name) from storage. I call sh*t on that one HS. I've got a pair of Rossi Vipers and I'll ski them anytime anywhere and trust me I'll have a great time. Granted if there's more than 6" of fresh I'd rather ski my PE's, but I don't see any snow in the forecast for this weekend.Highway Star wrote:No, I'm saying that showing up on a carving ski do to this type of skiing is a BAD IDEA, and you will have a BAD TIME.
