Not coming up until Friday night. So I will ski with the rest of the masses on Saturday. Enjoy those of you that make it up for the opening.

Going up Friday. New skis, boots, poles, pack need to be broken in. Sucks that I have to be at work at noon, thought...

I'm not going to burn valueable vacation days skiing manmade crap in November. I'm weekends and holidays-only through New Years unless we get some midweek powder days.

Avoiding opening day like a plague. Hopefully, I'll also avoid skiing K-mart altogether this year. If the snow is good in the White Mountains, I might be lucky enough not to have to drive into Vermont. Otherwise, I'm going to Stowe.

LOL!

Spend money for a pass and bitch for weeks that they're not opening early and they finally open and almost all the people bitching are not gonna be there? I'm not thrilled by everything they've done either, but I spent good money on passes so I'm riding this F'N Weekend! Sunday and Monday should be nice and quiet!

Coming up Saturday morning so maybe will get out Saturday afternoon if it's worth it. After that we're waiting till the week before Christmas. Early season can be such a clusterF of humanity because of the limited terrain, but I'm jonesing to get started and can't wait another month to start. Now if they get dumped on then that's a different story! We're very flexible. We don't like coming up every weekend like robots. If one weekend looks like crap, we'll just come up the next and add a few weekdays...

Nope. I'm with Geoff - vacation days are too valuable to waste on marginal limited skiing. I'll be out Sat early AM and after some wild screaming sex wityh Finn I'll be in Mahogany at 11 as usual.
Sorry Humpty but them's the breaks!

Bad news for Kmart! We will not be denied. That's thousands of $ of lost income for the knuckleheads.

Burn a vacation day and pay $60 bucks to ski Great Northern and Rime the day after an inch of r*in falls? I don't think so.
