ummm... That stupid man seems pretty smart... :) I espcially like the "Just ride what ever is under your boots." part...
You know it's not like I'm constantly making scraping noises to scare every unsuspecting intermediate skiers AND riders... Only sometimes..
I hear a scraping noise behind me, I just aim my pole in that direction, bout eye level.
ummmm - goggles? hello??
Gee, how'd I know you'd reply? Hope you got strong lenses on those goggles, hello?
I will spray anybody that is sitting in the middle of the trail, boarder, skier, tobogganer whatever. ....and I agree that on your left/right actually makes people turn in that direction.."ON YOUR LEFT" and they turn left, so, I smack em in the back of the head and say "your other left" if they are skiers then Ill try to kick my tailout and pop them out of one of there bindings, boy is that hilarious

As a boarder I actually have done the same - if they are in my way..
You gotta be careful doing it to skiers though... Boarders take a while to stand up and start after you... Skiers are already standing and ready to get ya...
Spray them with snow? That's childs play. I've gone as far as hitting their board with my skis. :)
Some Boarders used stupid boarders in the middle of trails as a HIT. Block the trail or stop out of site, and they just give a little jump, ride the side of the board down or across and away they go. Maybe some of the jibbers could work on that manuever too.

I've "ollied" over skiers and boarders before..
It's a good technique!

I had a boarder chase after me once so I stopped and waited for him!He said"You did that on purpose" and I said YUP>move your tea party to the side of the hill before you get hurt!
He stood there dumbfounded as I skied away!
No, no, no, no, no. The side's where the best snow is, especially after the damn boarders have scraped off everything in the middle. Stay in the middle. Besides boarders, skiers, whatever sitting in the middle of the trail are just another obstacle to go around. Sort of like trees. Makes things a little more interesting.

all the more reason for blades. Very quick turning. Stays on the side. Right shortski?
If I ever hear a boarder coming up behind me (which quite honestly I never do) I swing my poles wildly like I some kind of wounded bird, I think it woud do the trick.
If I hear that scraping sound behind me I just release a toxic chemical cloud which renders them helpless. This technique also frees up seats in crowded bars when needed.

I did that yesterday, got on the Gondi, no line empty cars before and after me, just wanted a Nice private ride to suck down a Long Trail and kick back...but NOOOOOOOOOOO.....excuse me can you move over, no problem...waited for the door to close then spent the next four minutes swallowing air.. let a really big one rip about where the old mid station used to be.....the best part was they must have been new to Killington, they didn't know you have to push up on the window before pulling down on the latch to open..I think they'll think twice about getting on a gondi when someone is clearly blocking entrance and there is no lift line.

You naughty boy. Is that any way to show a newbie how friendly we are at Killington? It must have been a guy. If it was a babe you would have been glad to share that cab.
