I would think Route 100 is the fastest to Stratton. I've driven right by the main parking lot and the Sun Bowl road on my way to Mount Snow.whiteout wrote:SkiDork wrote:I'm at Stratton on Saturdayandyzee wrote:Coming up Friday - Sunday.Friends, are bugging us to go to Stratton so may actually do Stratton on Saturday and Killington on Sunday.
Hey, what's the fastest route to Stratton from Sunrise? Down 100? Doesn't seem to make sense to take 7 south from where we are. Thanks, pal.
HUH????? Rt 100 goes to Londonderry and goes South at the Rt 11 turn off to Bromely. Next stop is Rt. 30 to Stratton, but again 100 turns LEFT and South away from the mountain. From Sunrise, 100 is the better route, in good weather but 7 would be the easier drive to Manchester then 30 East. It is about 3 to 5 miles from 100 to the access road at Stratton. Sun Bowl and such is off a back road away from 100.Geoff wrote:I would think Route 100 is the fastest to Stratton.
