MtnMan are you on a sick leave from work or are you crutching in like a dedicted employee should? :)
Unfortunately, the latter. There are some days I really don't want to come in though, lack of sleep has been an issue lately. Not the "good" lack of sleep kind either....
Although, after the surgery, I'll be out of the office for a couple weeks, docs orders. I'll be posting while heavily medicated during the week, this could get interesting. Typing is sooooo much harder while hopped up though

Dont ge the 1080's fricken foam core sucks. Breaks so easy. Get some real twin tips aka line skis, k2, ninthward, liberty, 4frnt, and rossi. Unless you get next years 1080 lab which i think has a foam/wood core mix

Try the Public enemys or maybe line assasin.

I agree though. Ever since I bought the twins a couple years ago, they seem to run better in the moguls, less tail catching on the backside of the moguls.

They felt very very smooth... granted I was skiing hero bumps with nice lines and light forgiving corn snow. I'm looking forward to taking them out again, maybe this afternoon if the sun happens to pop out.
How's the knee feeling MtnMan?
Shitty
I start pre op PT tonight and get the second opinion tomorrow afternoon. I should nice and sore by Friday

It's a rocky road, but I'll get there.

I rode with a broken hand before...doctors always over estimate the down time...at the very least cut it in half, maybe even by 3 quarters. According to my calculations you should have been back out there 10 days ago...wtf?

Ty, well from what everyone is saying size doesn't matter.... that's "boot" size. So if MtnMan can adjust the bindings and do what he needs to be done, you're more than welcome to take them for a few runs. I'll be up the weekend of the 16th. I think MtnMan will too so he can do the job. But you have to promise me one thing.... no rock skiing with them.

Hehe, I skied with a soft cast on my arm when my tendons were cut. Was fine until I fell on it doing bumps. Hand is a different animal than a knee though. You don't know how bad I want to ski right now.
Just got back from my first PT. I'm 17deg from zero on straightening it, not good at all. I have about 25-30% flex compared to my right leg. After 2 hours of PT, I'm going to be hurtin tomorrow. The Vicodin is kickin' in right now, oooooooooh boy. Feels like I just did about 8 shots of Jager....
Anyway, second opinion appt is tomorrow, we'll see what he says. Then we go from there.

I can give it a shot. But the binding only goes so far. Ty, stop by next Friday night with a boot and I'll do the adjustment.

Bummer dood, but I'm glad you're feeling no pain at least for the moment. Don't be doing any shots of Jager until HH on Saturday though.

And hope tomorrow is bearable...

We will probably be getting up too late on Friday night to come by. Maybe we can do it Saturday night. I hope there is enough snow on the trails for me to try them out without causing any damage to them.

I still see white Ty, you should have no problem. That is, unless you venture into your favorite territory...

If I ski on my own skis on Saturday and check out the territory I will know where I can ski with Skibumtress's skis without damaging them.

Well I'll be skiing on them anyway for the rest of the season so not to worry Ty. If you'd like you can take them in the a.m. before the 10:00 and then I can ski after the 10:00. We'll have to see if MtnMan will come to the mountain Sunday morning so he can do his stuff.
By the way, my 1080's are 151's.

I broke my hand in two places last thursday nite, and skied saturday and sunday. Had to remove the brace to do so, but hey, skiing takes priority over healing broken bones, doesnt it?
Pole plants hurt like hell!
