goshdarnwilliesfreakinsucky iPod, software and computer.

If any of you hear loud crashes and screams tonight, it's just me throwing my computer and everything out the window.
Someone please get me one of those white jackets. :?

I really wish you'd stop blaming the ipod, when it was your operating system causing the problem. Give us a report after you install XP.

one question.

Please say you have at least 256 MB of ram.

The rest of your system specs are just fine, but if you don't have enough RAM, XP may refuse to install.

If it does, it will be v e r y S l o w.

I'd be more than happy to come over to your place and see what i can do for you bummy... I'll bring the Port. While I'm at it, I might try to fix your ipod.

I share your pain.
My new laptop (6/04) has some issues-dead USB screwing up the motherboard-but I can throw it out the window and dump coffee on it-warranty is great-but doing without-is impossible.
ipods-been blocking all info-but I do need a new music/tv system.
Want minimal shelf space/speakers and decent sound quality.
TOTALLY ignorant on I-pods and all.
Will be starting from scratch-no $2k stuff at this time.
Recommendations anyone?
I'd love a flat screen but too much $$ still.
Sound/radio-(hook laptop to it with DVD) would be cool.

Thank you all for you support and help..... my problem may be solved after next weekend.
However, I still need to be carried away in one of those white jackets and put into one of those padded cells for a bit.
