While not VT, I have conceded that winter is over in South Central PA. long range shows no more cold weather. Hell it shows 60 degress for Sunday, that'll be 2 weekends in a row where temps were above 50!

historically, my local hill only blows snow until March 1st (just like northern resorts). It will be telling if they even bother to resurface after todays deluge. My guess is they don't unless they need to recover some base. But for the most part they've got ~36 or more of snow on the entire mountain and can start pushing snow around as needed.

Its a shame...

The temp just hit 60º in my backyard in CT, at 11pm...

GFS Model forecast showed a promising storm for the following weekend, but now it looks like it might be another r*in/snow event. One decent size storm would make me smile but I'm not getting my hopes up at this point.

It would be nice if Killington had a 3' base on the entire mountain!

well Roundtop has a 100 skiable Acres, so its a little easier to achieve...

They typically close, in normal years, with full coverage. Its a shame.

bailed from vt after yesterday's the iceman cometh. today should be some spring fun before it all sets up good for tomorrow. hopefully the couple inches on the back end softens the blow. speaking of ...

furious storm here in putnam last night. 44 when i got home at 6:30 and rose to near 60 a few hrs later. sheets of r*in. thought the roof might blow off the place. big gullies in driveway this morn. fun, fun, fun ...

Ya at 700' vert K makes more snow on ss than these resorts do all season
