Of course you will be welcomed. The site should be on the access road near the Superstar Quad. Look for a bunch of people who are not looking at their phones but rather are conversing with each other.

Ha! Who are you trying to kid?? You have posted on this forum an obsessive 19,794 times over the past 11 years - do some math and you post on average over 5 times on this site EVERYDAY... Not to mention Facebook, text messages, and whatever other avenue you use to make yourself feel special... Look up, damnit, look up!
I am Humpty and I approve of this post.

Great point buddy.

it would have been really nice if K had set the spring operations so that on a week like this one, they throw a thursday in there. hoping for the best, bringing wet weather gear, wet weather beer ;o]

may the weather do us proud and over-deliver!

will have more tasty veggie meats and strong brews.

mid-may, worst winter of the century, still skiing.
that's cause for a big celebration!
curious - what are "veggie meats"?
well, just as k serves veggie burgers, i'll be bringing veggie sausage.
this brand is outstanding:

i've had many meat eaters ask me where they can get the stuff after tasting it.

similar to those vegan restaurants in chinatown (nyc) that offer a faux-meat versions of the standard fare.
cool. been a vegetarian since '72. as you know, most zoners live exclusively on pork products so it's unusual to meet another zoner who's actually heard of vegetables let alone eat them. transitioned from morningstar to gardein the last couple years. will have to check these guys out. some interesting products.
Buckethead let me taste the apple sage sausage and it was quite tasty.

Hope all those venturing out have a great time . . . we'll have to pass this weekend, but hope to make it up for 'closing' weekend to celebrate in the activities and show our appreciation for a job well done by the Killington crew!!!

Be safe out there!!!!

hourly forecast shows no greater than 7% chance of precip until 5pm it then goes to 33%-36 between 7pm and 8pm peaking at 46% @ 9pm ( everyone s/b long gone by then or the precip will be a push in that direction anyway)

this hourly forecast is usually quite accurate, sometimes amazingly so...

Are we going to have a BBQ below Superstar? I am preparing some stuff in preparation for it but need some of the early folks to save a spot so we can have a nice gathering like last Saturday.

Today's BBQ was not too well attended and broke up by 2 PM. Sorry for anyone that was looking for us - we were there from 11:00 - 2:00 but people wanted to move on so it broke up. Champagne Powder never showed up as far as I know. However Liv4ski delivered as promised and both the tuna and bison burgers were great.

The BBQ reformed at about 5:15 and went to 7:45 at which time we got pushed out by the r*in. Madhatter's beef/chicken kabobs and lemon-aid were tasty. The weather today surpassed expectations. Lots of sun and slushy bumps.
