No kidding! I couldn't believe it wasn't a goal during live action, and then watching on slow mo after I really cringed...Krej has been disappointing, especially compared to his previous playoffs (his tip goal from Pasta is his only saving grace).

It really is something that the Cap's can't "do" playoffs.

They should be down 0-3.

I flipped to the Celtic's when it was 2-2, so of course then I fell asleep on the couch (Basketball is just not my thing, but watching Brown was fun).

They are 1-8 against the Puckburgh Pens in the playoffs. They have learned the hard way that the road to The Cup goes through Hockeyburgh, USA.

It's amazing the Caps can't ever live up to their regular season results...so until they do, I don't expect them to! Just like why I say the Cup goes thru the Pens, as a B's fan I know never pick against the defending champs until they are eliminated (see friggin Canandians/NY Islanders/Oilers/even the Red Wings (not that the B's played the Wings, but wanted to include them) from the past!)

I want B's to win the Cup against the Jets...gotta love my alma mater goaltender (saw him 3 or 4 times playing at U Lowell, and every game I went to he played amazing). And he had replaced another awesome goaltender there, so that was even better!

It was just a matter of time for Phil Kessel to catch fire. The first period slaughter by Kessel-Crosby-Malkin was a thrill to watch, 2 goals and 3 assists among the big three. A goal and an assist from Capt. Grind, both initiated from behind the goal line. Kessel's breakout is an ominous development for anyone that faces the Puckburgh Penguins. Matt Magical Murray with his second shut out of the series. All this left the Filly fans booing their own team as the series goes back to Hockeyburgh, USA for game five.

Somehow, that 5-0 last night seemed more of a beat-down than the 7-0 game did.

Onto the next round. The Puckburgh Penguins head back to Hockeyburgh, USA to rest. Meanwhile, in a wild game, Jake Goalguentzel scored 4 goals and 1 assist yesterday to take out the Flyers in Filly in front of their filthy dirty beer can throwing fans. Hockeyburgh, USA is all over the offensive leader board.
Capt. Grind and Goalguentzel lead the playoffs with 13 points each, 6 goals each and 7 assist each. Goalguentzel also leads with a +10 rating.

.. meanwhile, Murphy is near the bottom of remaining playoff goaltenders
Penguins still have not been tested in these playoffs.
That changes in a few days ..
