I didn't go to the resort update, but they seem to be in the process of adding a post on the website suggesting a new K-1 lodge, North ridge quad and snowmaking improvements. The link is dead for now...

Announcing the new K-1 Lodge, new North Ridge lift and more.

Greetings from Killington Resort
Today we are thrilled to announce the next round of upgrades in our multi-year campaign to reimagine the Killington Resort experience. The massive capital investment plan we're launching today includes construction of a new, expanded K-1 Lodge, a new Leitner-Poma fixed-grip quad chairlift to replace the North Ridge Triple and significant improvements to both Killington and Pico’s snowmaking systems.

Construction of the new K-1 Lodge will begin this summer, with a plan to open for the 2020-21 season. Designed with a spacious, open floor plan and floor to ceiling windows offering stunning 180 degree mountain views, the new three-story lodge will be more than 50% larger than the existing facility, bringing the comfortable, modern feel of the Killington Peak Lodge to the K-1 Base Area.

The replacement of the North Ridge Triple with a brand new fixed grip quad chairlift will take place in time for the start of the 2019-20 season. Improvements to the snowmaking systems at Pico and Killington will help ensure a more reliable and consistent snow surface for both resorts, while lowering environmental impact.

Awesome news. Great to see PWDR and Mike continue to dig out from the deep hole that Otten and Nyburg dug. Exciting to see Killington on the upswing again, something tells me that this type of massive investment year after year is going to be the norm again for the next few years at least.

Nice improvements... great job Mike/POWDR!

I'm looking forward to a better schlep from Superstar to the K-1 (moving the lodge back should help). Also, looking forward to more guns going immediately after a warm-up. A swanky lodge will attract more Blue skiers... now only if there was more Blue terrain...

Hopefully, I am wrong but this can't bode well for pass prices.

Replacement of the Birch Glade chair at Pico would open up a ton of some of the best Blue terrain Killington/Pico has to offer. Bet we see that within the next 5 years.

my senior pass goes up 20 bux to $589. the regular unlimited pass is $959. don't know how that compares to last year.

at the meeting mike talked a bit about the disparity between black and blue terrain at k. my sense is that once the tunnel is complete and since it now has snowmaking and is groomed more often, great bear might now be considered a blue run.

not that anyone cares but one other item mentioned at the meeting is the replacement of one of the ramshead carpets with an enclosed one that runs to the top of that field with a new beginner trail returning to the bottom - part of what he called the ramshead progression. will be great for beginners. think he mentioned a million bux for that.

the partnership with woodward will be expanded with the ultimate goal to get a woodward barn like the one at copper.

Pretty sure the early buy full pass last year was $939. If so, that's a minimal increase.

No way lower GB will be a blue run.

Anyone else hear about the new Pina Colada topping at the Waffle Shack?
